Last week, I learned that one of my favourite writing inspirations, Ray Bradbury, passed away. He was introduced to me by one of my best friends and writing allies. And, ever since then, I’ve been a fan.
So, I thought that for this week’s Monday WOW, I’ll share with you one of my favourite Ray Bradbury quotes:
“If we listened to our intellect, we’d never have a love affair. We’d never have a friendship. We’d never go into business, because we’d be cynical. Well, that’s nonsense. You’ve got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down.”
It’s a great reminder that even when it’s scary or challenging, taking chances is the only way to go. Especially if we want to be able to fly — to achieve great things.
